Seaweather`s Fleet Safety Management Scheme has been developed and refined over many years to give a first class service. We take full responsibility for supplying, maintaining and replacing “lifed” and other survival equipment throughout the shipowner`s fleet. The scheme offers significant supply and administrative cost savings to fleet managers both large and small.
Here are the advantages :-
Seaweather usually purchase existing liferafts, rescue boats, lifejackets, etc., thus releasing cash for other projects.
Our staff monitor expiry dates of the equipment so that replacements are supplied on time.
There is no waiting time while the equipment is being serviced – it is simply replaced by freshly dated unit units. There is only one delivery/collection visit to the vessel saving time and transport costs.
The shipowner does not have to bear the expense replacing older units should they be “condemned” due to deterioration or age.
Seaweather`s fixed annual fee is “accountant friendly.” Because it is agreed in advance the scheme overcomes the unpredictability and possible exceptionally high servicing costs that can occur especially where older equipment is concerned.
The shipowners administration burden is drastically reduced.
